Do they make an analog or digital string length meter?

Watching the video of the Tecnifibre TF8000 machine, I was curious if a company has made a stand alone string length meter (analog or digital).

Anyone try a fishing line counter like this for measuring string?

Anyone have a setup similar to this for accurate and quick measurements? (instead of using arm lengths)

I tried it but didn't find it useful..............

I would find this a waste. WHile I know that the item works from when a customer who is a big fisherman showed it to me, when we tested it, a premarked 3 meter area worked quicker, for me.

How accurate is that meter?
It looks like a great way to measure the needed string from a reel.
