Economic Poly hybrid string recommendations

Hey all,
I am getting back into the game after 10 years off. I opened up my old stringing equipment and found a reel of Topspin Cyber Flash and a reel of Gosen OG Sheep Micro. I used those strings as my go to hybrid with CF in the mains and OGSM as the crosses. In searching around here I’m reading conflicting info about if these strings are still quality strings or if they have been changed (mostly the Cyber Flash).

I am looking for recommendations for a similar low cost setup with more modern strings, or whether or not CF and OGSM are still good low cost options. Any help would be appreciated. I currently use a few older model TFight 320 rackets and play(ed) an all court style.

I believe Cyber Flash is a fairly comfortable but otherwise pretty average round poly string. If so, you could give Kirschbaum Proline Evolution a try, especially in the 17 gauge. Tennis Warehouse has a reel on sale for just $89. Read the review here:

Tier one ghostwire is a very soft poly that can be used for hybrids as it is round. That is up only 2 dollars from the CF so I’d take a look into that.

Thanks for the recommendation. That string was not on my radar at all but is definitely something I will try out. That reel price is great.

I can’t seem to find reel pricing but it sounds like a string that would work for me. Thanks.

Not quite CF affordability but I’ll give it a shot. The hard part is I still have old CF left so it won’t be a straight comparison to whatever new formula CF has if in fact they changed it. Thanks GOAT.
