What grip size do you 14-16 year old guys get for your racquet? I just ordered three ag300's and i got them with 4 3/8.

I thought the 3/8 was a bit small. I got 2 at 1/2, and they come with diff grips (AGs). The 3/8 comes with the grip with triangle perforations while the 1/2 comes with a solid grip like Syntec from babolat or TRU from Wilson.

It depends on your liking , bro.. Most your age use a 3, with overgrip (becomes a 4).
Try some out, see what you like. I would reccomend to go smaller rather than larger-- you can always throw on multiple overgrips to increase it, but you can't shrink 'em

I have owned a racquet in L2, L3, L4, and L5... I currently have my Prince Diablo Tour (originally L4) heat-shrunk up to L5.

EDIT:---

That's a 3.5, not a 4.

? a 3 is a 4 3/8, and a 4 is a 4 1/2
And it depends on the grip you use. grap, syntec, etc are mad thick, while vs, tourna, etc are thin.

You make a good point about the thickness issue, but the general rule of thumb is that an overgrip will increase grip size by 1/16 inch, not 1/8.

And yeah, I know that's true... I'm an American, but I prefer the European grip sizing system, so I keep myself informed on it.

I like 3/8, 1/2 I need a 7/16

You can get that, two ways. One, get an overgrip (if you like that sort of thing) or two, get a 1/2 size heat-shrink wrap. They're very easy to apply (I used my gas stove... took under 5 mins, and looks fine) and a good way to fix grip sizing, especially if you either hate overgrips (or just passingly dislike them, like me) or like overgrips, but want to still be able to feel your bevels.

If i meagure my hand, i should be using 4 1/2...however i like 4 3/8 in head grip shape (which feels a bit smaller then a regular 4 3/8) the best.

i use 4 1/4 w/ an over grip, i do have small hands but it is a dunlop racquet (a little bigger than most), i guess i just like the feel of it more

yeah i am 14 years old and i ordered them with 4 3/8, my friend had one that size and it fit me perfectly, right now i have a 4 1/2 and it feels big. I am going to put a wilson pro overgrip on top of the dunlops and that will make it 4 4/8. LOL.

It's all personal preference, I guess. I've just finished high school, playing the future/sattelite's, and im 6'4'', but im using a 3 with thin overgrip.. try it all out bro.

Oh, don't get me wrong... I have tried pretty much everything (2-5... technically I think up to 6. I had an L5 with about 3 overgrips on it), and I really can't stand anything below an L4...

I have large hands, I have been told, and I like large grips overall. You're right, that it would be unfair to say that I did or didn't like X or Y if I hadn't tried it.

I like small grips IMHO, I use a L4, I used to use a L5, but it hurt my hands. (Dislocated fingers, although I'm just prone to that)
