Has anyone ever had the chance to hit with a Hyper PS 6.1 (or ncode/kfactor version) in the 18 mains string pattern, and the Prostaff ROK which had a 93' head and also an 18*20 pattern?
Used the ROK before, very good control, no topsin. It has the tightest strig bed i have ever seen on a racket, so i guess that explains the low spin potensial.
I have both and I don't think they are similar. The Rok is much easier to use ( 320g/320SW vs. 333g/330SW ) and lower powered. It is easier to brush the ball with it so you get more spin but the plow through is nowhere near the HPS...

I strung mine at 40 lbs (max recommended tension) and it was weird. Very boardy and little spin. That was with a soft synthetic gut. I'm going to re-string it at 30 lbs. next time

It really depends on your style of play IMO. The HPS61 was and will always be one of the finest S&V rackets ever. Just amazing at the net. The ROK was IMO better suited to the baseline game or occasional ventures into the net. It also had a very sweet feel when strung right. The HPS61 serves bombs while I never got near that much power with the ROK. In Wilson's history of graphite based players sticks, these two very good rackets are very much opposites.
