Is the sidespin that Nadal imparts onto the ball an overlooked factor?

Nadal hits the reverse forehand and by doing that he imparts fair amount of sidespin onto the ball. This "property" affects the trajectory the ball has after the bounce because it makes the ball go left. This hurts the most of righties a lot, because it forces them to hit their backhands more than they would like to.

In my opinion, this is the biggest reason why Nadal is so successful against Federer - he prevents him to run around his backhand and hit the forehand more often than not. And Federer is neither used to hit his backhand all day long, nor his backhand is good enough to beat Nadal.

What are your thoughts?
