Just got Wimbledon Finals tickets through the post!!

Wow im in hysterics at the moment, but i sent off for the wimbledon ballot tickets a couple of months back, i thought this year i wouldn't be as lucky as last year when i got semi-final tickets but to my astonishment as i opened the letter it just read "a pair of tickets for Sunday 3rd July", i seriously could not believe it, i just kept reading it over and over and checking just to see if it actually was mens finals day. I am so happy at the minute

thanks lol that is quite a question, i have absoloutly no idea tbh just hoping for a great match obviously lol, really would like to see either roger or rafa in the final or both, but maybe its djoker's time or perhaps its murray's time to make a final at wimby, shall be very interesting.

He'd struggle to sell it unless it was by word of mouth. AELTC are very hot on touting. The tickets you see sold openly are debentures, not ballot or club tickets.

i havn't actually got the tickets just the form to say i was successful in the ballot and have a pair of tickets to buy, you have two weeks to get the money to them then they will send the tickets when its close to the start of the tournament, thats what happened when i got tickets last year.

How does the selection thing work!? I never went to Wimbledon before....want to go in the future. Do you live there...if not how much would you think you would spend in total there?

Also good luck...I think it going to be a good final there with either Fedal playing a 4 to 5 setter or Roddick winning wimbledon!

It's pretty random i think, go on the wimbledon website and it gives you all the info about entering the ballot, addresses and so on, since i live in the UK its probably easier, to enter the ballot you send a stamped envelope within another envelope with your address on one and the wimbledon address on the other, they then send you the ballot form, fill it in saying if you want a pair of tickets or whatever then send that back, this all has to be done within a certain date, then see if u get lucky lol, and so far the only two times ive entered the ballot have got a pair of semi-final tickets and now finals tickets so its well worth it.
