Need a help on Drop Weight machine with linear string gripper

Hi, I recently got Eagnas 10 stringing machine (on picture it's similar to Eagnas DEN 3600). It has drop weight and linear string gripper.

I was able to string my first 2 rackets, but went tested them on court - I figure out that strings tension is much higher then I've used during the stringing.

Next step - I've purchased digital fishing scales (Berkley) and tested the machine (saw pictures in this forum). "Real" tension was ~6-8 lb higher than configured on the stringing machine. Did anyone faces the same problem?

I also found that the is a big difference in tension based on the final position of the linear string gripper. If it's final position is vertical (shown on most manuals) - I have +7 lb in difference. +30 deg from vertical +6 lb, - 30deg from vertical +8 lb.

I've searched on the net, but did not find any details/specifics of stringing with linear gripper and drop weight. Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks

I am not sure what the problem is because I don't use a machine like you. You may want to call Eagnas and see if they can help you. If you can't resolve your problem set your tension lower by the amount it is off when the arm is horizontal.

Just a thought the hole in the center of the weight could be off center. Try taking the weight off and turning it around and reinstall it. Then test again.

I guess good stringing is a matter of consistency. Find what "new" tension you like and drop the arm to the same position on every pull to ensure consistent results.

Adapting your habits and use of the machine to the results you like is going to be easier than to deal with Eagnas customer support from what I hear.
