Prince Thunderlite Longbody Oversize-Is it arm friendly?

Hi

I use an older Racquet, a Prince Thunderlite Longbody Oversize racquet. It is my understanding that this racquet is pretty arm friendly. I suffer from tennis and golfers elbow. I am stringing the strings at a lower tension and I am trying a arm friendly grip to help ease my elbow problems. Does anyone know if the racquet is arm friendly?

Also will putting foam in the handle help decrease racquet vibration or will it add to it by not allowing the vibration to leave through the hollows of the racquet?

Thanks

Ok, some things to try here. Try something like the Prince Cushion Fit replacement grip which is very spongy and asorbs vibration quite well. Not sure what string you are using, but various multifilament type strings work best if you do not want to use gut for dampening purposes. Tecnifibre 515 16 is a nice solid choice for this situation, as might Head's FibreGel 16 original string. If you want to try gut, go with the VS 135 or any 15L gut string in this racquet being it can be tough on string. Filling with foam is a decent idea, better yet is to inject some clear GE silicone into the handle, just a bit, a few grammes worth, this asorbs vibration better than foam will. Any questions, drop me some e-mail.
