Prince Tour 100 (16 by 18)

Bought this frame new on special from TW for a 100 dollars.

Tested it first with the supplied nylon string, then with Cyclone at 45 pounds.

Was looking for that same super soft buttery feel of the previous Exo 3 Tour 100.

More or less the same racquet but with a bigger sweet spot.

With the nylon string the power level was surprisingly high for such a flexy frame.

With the Cyclone the power level was much lower!

Around 10 percent minimum possibly more. Downside of nylon was the lack of grip on the ball -- I hit so many into the net which stopped completely with the poly string.

The 56 rated flex--- is an amazing type of feel. You either love it or hate it.

Never felt so connected to where the ball was going, especially on my backhand up the line.

Downsides.....Flat hitting is nearly impossible with this frame.

Changing the pace I found more difficult too.

Against pace it's not that stable ( frame tends to open up )

Positives.....feel and spin.

You can work the angles and due to the ridiculous amount of spin reduce greatly your UE count.

You win more by attrition than power with this frame!

Most enjoyable frame I've ever used by some.

My favourite setup for this racquet is fullbed Signum Pro Poly Plasma 1.23 or Gamma Moto 17 around 25k. That combi gives me all control I need and makes me rip the balls with all the confidence I need.

The Tours are underestimated gems. I have an 18x20 (which I would recommend trying if you're looking for flatness). Feel is golden... so golden.
