there is a dealer on **** selling them with some good feedback, but they are all prestrung. being it that its an old racquet do u think it has ruined the frame to be under that pressure for so long?

ps, i know its the DESIGNED and not MADE in Austria version, but it's fine with me. cuz they're dirt cheap

Buy the racquet, being prestrung for however long isn't going to hurt it.

The last crop from China came all prestrung. Just cut it out and restring...the frames are fine.

Oh forgot to mention this- keep in mind that the PT 280 has a VERY pronounced rectangular grip, even more so than Volkls I feel. I don't mind the grip shape personally but lots of people here really don't like it.

Loud's right -- the PT 280's coming out of China have been prestrung for years. Doesn't hurt the racket at all.

teh seller apparently stopped selling them, but e-racquets sells them at 49.99 online. just do search for "head pro tour 280"

btw, thanks everyone who posted, teh 4 1/2's on e-racquets are unstrung, does that mean they are older versions??? (possibly made in austria =D )
