Since we had one of those rare "Indian summer" days yesterday, I had a chance to hit for a half hour with latest prized Yonex.
There are no surprises with the RDX, very consistent and accurate response in all areas. There is surprising power on demand with this racket (55lbs tension), and shots are effortless and smooth with good mechanic. The racket does swing *heavier* than the specs indicate and I ended up removing lead and electrical tape in the handle to its original condition, but leaving the 3 1/2" at 12 on the hoop.
Due to the spin capability, I noticed an improvement in my backhand and serve percentage, while other shots were about the same as the MP Tour 1 90. Serves had more clearance and topspin vs. the IPrestige. Low slices skidded with nasty bite, good for approach shots.
Anyway, for a player 4.5 and up with good mechanics, the RDX500 has no limits, while providing comfort and feel, which isn't always the case with a player racket (!)
