Roddick, Isner, Serena, Sharapova to do exho at Cowboys Stadium in July

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—Jerry Jones has found another unique way to use his massive Cowboys Stadium. Tennis, anyone?

Six days after Wimbledon, the $1.2 billion stadium will host a pair of best-of-three matches, featuring Serena Williams against Maria Sharapova, and Andy Roddick facing John Isner.

The showcase, to be held on July 10, is called the Cowboys Tennis Slam and it is being billed as the inaugural event.

In addition to the NFL, Cowboys Stadium already has hosted the NBA All-Star game, a Manny Pacquiao boxing match, and soccer. Bull Riding is on the agenda this summer.

While the building can hold more than 100,000 people, it will be configured to hold 20,000 for the tennis matches.

In case you don't know, Cowboys Stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world and also has the world's largest hd screen. Pretty cool that there's going to be a tennis match there.

Great my house is 8 miles away from the stadium so I might probably be there....(although I wish more players had signed up for this)

Ticketmaster btw starts selling tickets in June 2nd.

Amazing stadium, they just hosted a major boxing match there in Nov. and 51,000 came out to watch Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua CLottey. Hope the tennischannel shows this event.
