Slice-kick serve help

Hey folks!

I need help again. Its been a month or so since I have asked for help. Last time was for my kick and twist serve. Plus one handed backhand.

Well Update is that I have a great kick and twist serve now. I use a eastern grip and I get lots of pace and kick. My one handed back hand has improved. now I want to get even better.

Question: How do you hit a slice-kick?
I have hit my kick and twist serves so much that I can't hit a slice serve anymore. I just saw a kid the other day at my club that plays national USTA 18 and under tennis. He had a great slice topspin.

This is Michael Chang doing the slice topspin

He is also using and eastern grip but every time I try to imitate it I hit a twist serve instead of a slice-kick

BTW, its called a Topspin-slice serve, not a slice-kick...

Throw it more to the right. Brush with your racquet up to the right.

If you can hit a topspin serve at 80+ mph and a 100+ mph first (another thread, kinda doubt it, sorry, but some hard evidence would be appreciated), it really should not be that hard. You don't need to pronate as much as an American Twist...

well i can't prove it to you but hitting 80-100 is quite common. For a flat all i have to do it through it out onto the court and pronate my forearm and choke up about half a cm on my handle to get the speed up and still get it in about 50% of the time. my second serve i just swing as fast as my first serve but use an eastern grip while going though the same motions as a kick. I just learned serving not in the usual order(slice, flat, kick) I learned it kick, flat and now am trying topspin-slice*:)
