So is Liquid Metal technology REAL and does it WORK?

lots of ppl discount the Flexpoint technology. Just wanted to see people's thought on Liquid metal. Lots of ppl seem to like the LM radical..

Also Microgel too I guess...

Do they work for you. If FXP technology was a fake or wasn't ideal...do these two other technologies work?

What have you found that the added Liquid metal does for your strokes/game/feel/power/comfort/etc....

it does work indeed, but only in the super powerful range of racquets.

despite the pretty pattern on the prestige and even the radical, there is almost none of this technology in the racquet, far less than the paint job leads you to believe. Head put the minimum they are legally allowed to get away with in their players' racquets to allow them to market it as having the technology. The truth is that at this end of their spectrum, if you made the same racquet without the liquid metal stuff, it would feel near identical.

intelligence technology for the record does in fact work on all their racquets.

while on the topic, wilson's n coding technology does also work in all their racquets.

this is not just my opinion (although i agree with it) this is fact taken from people who genuinely know their stuff

The thing is, all the tech's are legit. If they weren't, every single racquet company would be sued for false advertising.

However, the companies are really putting in the minimum. Ex. head's titanium technology: there was a tiny strip of titanium that costs less than 2 cents in the racquet. However, Head's allowed to market the racquets as "Titanium Technology" because there is a tiny bit of titanium in it, albeit a tiny bit.

Same with all that liquidmetal, ncode, kfactor, microgel, aerogel, etc. They're real, and they're in the racquets, but it's in so little a quantity that it doesn't make a difference.

I agree. a very small amt. of those technologies are actually in the racquet. And the way companies label and advertise their products leads the unknowing customer into believing/ assuming that atleast a majority of the racquet is made up of it.
On the same token, I've played with both LM Rad MP and FP Rad MP and they both do play differently. Ofcourse, I liked and preffered the LM for its soft flexy comfortable feel over the FP. But that my personal racquet preference. Are those characteristics due to the technology used? Mabye or not entirely. You have to admiit, that other racquet factors play a role in the difference:
- relative % composiiton of the other major materials
- balance
- thickness of beam and where
- etc etc
