String Help Please

Hey guys,
If you read my previous thread you will know that I broke the strings on my Pure Drive (2010) I have a 2012 on the way now I also have a Prince EXO3 Team. So my three racquets are my two Pure Drives (2012 GT and 2010 standard model) and the Prince. I like the extra spin on my Prince but I don't get the power of my Pure Drive, I was thinking Big Bangers, also on my 2010 Pure Drive I had Big Bangers and had a great experience but I want a bit more sharpness without losing power. And on my 2012 I want spun and speed, no clue what to string it with.

the Pure drives are pretty stiff and powerful compared to the prince tour. I'd say the Bab's are good for offensive baseline punishers that hit pretty flat and the price is good for the counter puncher baseliner that loves keeping the opponent on his heels with topspin deep. ALU is a pretty stiff poly and since The pro drive lacks feel and touch in my opinion so I would highly recommend hybriding the ALU with gut or and a good Multi filament. Many people consider the Babbolott Gut the best. RPM blast and Beast are co polys and and are softer. My favorite combination for topspin was the Prince 3d which are geometric and crisp with recoil which was very slippery. My top spin Lob was going over the back fence on the bounce. Recoil is discontinued so Im trying Prince syn gut with dura flex which makes it slippery and Donnay syncope. I think that the slippery string plus the geometrically shaped strings make for less friction, allowing more string movement and thus more spin. (also more power). Had a problem with the #D breaking too often so I moved on to Weiss cannon which felt a little mushy and Black code which worked a little better just not the crazy spin I was getting with the 3d. remember to reduce the normal tension on the poly's. TW has a section that scores the Hybrid combination for string friction. Thinner strings will also give you more power and more spin. I like 17 on the polys and 16 on the syn gut. Good luck.

WC TurboTwist has really good power. Not sharp (crisp) though.
