Swingweight

Semi-Pro
the swingweight for the Pro Kennex Type S is listed as 312, other rackets that have a much greater static weight have a smaller swingweight. I know that balance point can have something to do with this however the static weight of Type S is 11.4 while the TFight 335 is 12.4 but they still have the same swing weight. How is this

If you hold a hammer by the handle end, it is hard to swing. If you hold that same hammer by the hammer end, it is much easier to swing. Same static weight, vastly varying swingweights. This is the same principle as in tennis racquets. The more the weight is towards the head of the racquet, the harder it is to swing.

it has to do w/ static weight and balance...but it also has a lot to do w/ weight distribution within the racket...
