Hello. I have a tennis tutor prolite rechargeable ball machine and I need to get a new charger. I don't want to pay the tennis tutor ripoff price. I want to get something much cheaper and then connect it to a suitable plug which fits the ball machine. I tried a 2.1mm plug and that didn't work. Does anyone know the correct size please? Many thanks in advance.

2.1mm and 2.5 mm seem to be the standard sizes. It should be one or the other. You can call the company and ask.

Did you try a second 2.1mm plug in case the first one was a little off? I had an older Tennis Tutor ball machine that used a 2.1mm plug. I found that some 2.1mm plugs did not fit.

You can buy a "2.1mm x 5.5 mm DC power pigtail" (or 2.5mm) on Amzon that you can splice onto any charger you buy. An even better way is to splice a 2 pin quick disconnect harness (Amzon) onto the battery charger power leads and onto the 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC power pigtail.

I had bought a used Tennis Tutor off Craigslist that came with the older style (non-smart) charger with the tip broken. I called Tennis Tutor to see how much a new charger would cost. The guy told me to send him the broken charger and he'll send me a new smart charger for free. YMMV but it's been shown on this forum that Tennis Tutor customer service is legendary.
