The answer to Federer's recent problems

Read this post and I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts:

Heath Waters has been trying to contact Roger to tell him how to beat Nadal, but Roger won't respond. What do you guys think?

Yeah, Heath and a million others. If he doesnt care about the money, then why would he care to hold back and "reveal" his secret formula?

I like when he implied that "he was the only one that sees this". Yeah, and I got a bridge to sell you. :)

I think with Rodgers game, he is complacent. He has rode the wave of being #1 and wiping out the competition for quite sometime and is flat and almost seems a bit bored or depressed. Well, now everyone has got better. So, in part, I do agree with Heath that he needs to step up the practice and start working again to improve an area or two.

LOL. That's what I thought too. If Heath is such a genius why doesn't he put his efforts toward his current student, Rubin Statham, ranked 560 in the world. At least get him to where he doesn't have to suffer competing at the challenger level. And he wonders why Roger doesn't write back....

I think a lot of us see how to beat Nadal on paper, and the guys that usually beat Nadal are guys that just take a chance on some things and put together a good day. It's a lot different than being the #1 player and trying to hold him back from taking your spot.

Going out there and actually doing it is, no doubt in my mind, a much much tougher thing to do than to say. There are a lot of points you play right with Nadal that he simply beats you on.

I totally agree. Just because you have a plan doesn't mean you can execute it when those monster topspin shots are coming at you.

It is easy to come up with a plan to beat Nadal. Roger said he had just such a plan in Paris-- but Nadal prevented him from using it.

I recently heard this from an olympic commentator today, he said that Roger Federer had mononucleosis or something, and it really hurt his game, where he was never able to recover. is this true? o_O

I haven't lost to Nadal once as Federer in Topspin 3. But if real-life Federer wants to know my secret he's going to have to buy me Madden '09 with the new label that makes Favre a Jet.

Never did quite understand the spelling of that name.
