The Phase One Technifibre Strings, Good for Me and Good for Medvedev

Recently, Medvedev changed to using Biphase Technifibre strings. The strings are multi-filament, lively, and pre-stretched providing longer lasting tension.. I've used them for about three years and they deliver the shots I feel at the time the ball hits the strings. Medvedev mostly hits flat baseline shots. I mostly hit flat baseline shot, though I often come to the net and slice penetrating volleys Yet the lively Technifibre also provides an effective drop-shot touch whether at the net or from the baseline. Like Medvedev, I rarely miss-hit, but I don't strike the ball nearly as hard as Medvedev. Therefore, I can get away with using the 18-gauge Phase One strings strung at 55 lbs. The 18 gauge gives a bit more spin off top-spin swings and slice swings. I don't know the gauge or tension of Medvedev's strings, but I'm certain he doesn't use 18 gauge. With his swing speed, an 18-gauge string could snap at any moment. Still, my 18-gauge strings last about three weeks of playing and practicing at least 3 hours a day at five days a week or more often. I figure though that by the end of three weeks of frequent racket-string use, it's time to restring by too much use of the original and noticeably fraying strings losing too much tension. However, the Phase One Technifibre strings are expensive, 24.95 unless they're put on sale for about three dollars less. You'll still have to pay for the stringing cost, unless you have your own electronic stringing machine, which is also very expensive.

To be sure, flat hitting doesn't stress the strings nearly as much as a repeated wicked top-spin swing.
I think you’re trying to talk about X-one Biphase. But Medvedev isn’t playing with that string. Medvedev uses Razor Soft.
Yeah, I shouldn't have credited the Biphase string as the string on Medvedev's racket.

Medvedev doesn’t use X-One Biphase

Djokovic used to use X-One Biphase so it is definitely an excellent string. You can find pictures of him with the nBlade (I think) with the Wilson and Technifibre stencil simultaneously.

Djokovic also used it when he used the LM Radical MP

For sure. I'm not sure what you're getting at, but it's true.
What I’m getting at is everything humans are doing on this planet have a negative effect. Cows are used for their hides, for their meat, for their milk and if you like gut strings then use it. It will have no positive or negative effect on the environment if I use natural gut strings and if I enjoy a steak every once in a while.

I enjoy using x-1 biphase as the mains, now crossed with their triax. It's expensive, but Technifibre , in my opinion and feel , makes their strings with some above average quality make and processes which results in smooth precision.

Why cross x-1 with triax?
