I switched to this racket from Babolat Aeropro Drive. I needed more power on serve. Other than that, I have a feeling that PD and APD same racket. The mold is very similar, specs are identical, and playing characteristic very close.

I had 4 of the 2012 PDR, loved that racquet. I feel like everytime I use a PD I end up switching to a players frame I don’t play as well with. I recently switched back to my swirlies, but maybe I’ll pick up some of these again, all the PD’s up to the 2012 were great, shame the bumper/grommets are so expensive to replace now.

Yeah that is my only complaint with the 2012. The grommets will get brittle and break, already happened to my APD 2010. So I don't use the PD12 as much as I'd like to.
