Thoughts on multi hybrid with "rough" (not shaped) poly

I'm about to adventure into hybrids for the first time. One of the setups I'm thinking of trying is NRG2 with Luxilon Element Rough. Element Rough is not a shaped string, honestly to touch and visually, it is more sticky than rough, it feels smooth all over. I like how it grabs the ball while still sliding on itself, and the comfort/stiffness levels. I know a shaped poly can cut into multi strings pretty quickly...what about Element Rough?

thanks for any thoughts. no need to suggest traditional hybrid setups as I already have a plan for those.

I think it makes more sense than a shaped poly. I've strung natural gut/rough poly hybrids several times. Of course, the gut frays faster than it probably would have with a smooth poly, but it's not unreasonable. Also, rough poly's dont seem to lock in the string bed like some shaped polys do, especially when the poly is in the mains.
