So Bernard Tomic is 180th world and why the special treatment to him??
I would understand if this youngster is an american but I'm wondering, why not give this wildcard to a more deserving player like Grigor Dimitrov, who's better ranked than Tomic!!! Dimitrov is also a young up-and-coming player, they both won grand slams in juniors and if you're giving one to Tomic, why not give another, if there's any left, to Dimitrov?
Well the tournament's directors have the right to give a wildcard to whoever they wanted but this is one ridiculous choice. I'm wondering what are the reasons behind their choices and are they too lazy to scout others youngsters? It seems to me that Tomic got help from the media.
It's been 2 Masters in a row for Tomic and how ironic to know that all the seeded qualifiers has a higher ranking than him. Sorry for the rant! I just have to say it. You might not agree with me and I'm open to know why...just a thought!
