Recently the USRSA has received some criticisms on this board for their string ratings and playtesting methods. This post is to buck the bashing trend and congratulate them for an INCREDIBLE job in putting the Stringer's Digest 2005 together. The Spring/Summer edition not only features the highly useful racquet patterns, but it has also added a chapter on racquet specs for all racquets from 1995 - PRESENT. What an absolutely cool resource for us "Stringing Nerds."
I have often thought about how wonderful it would be to have access to the racquet specs and here it is, in black and white. The chart includes the racquet headsize, length, weight, balance, swingweight, pattern, as well as the USRSA Power Formula. An awesome resource to have at right at the fingertips.
This resource also contains information on their string playtests as well as Tournament logs from 2004. All-in-all quite an impressive collection of information.
