USTA Adult leagues(MI)

Tennis used to be my life. But I quit playing a few years ago and I really want to start back up again.

But I'm over 18 now and can't play in USTA junior tournaments anymore. I got on the USTA site to read up on adult leagues but they're not telling me much.

So I was wondering if you guys could tell me how the adult leagues in southern MI are. Are they competitive? How often do you play?

Thanks.

Thanks Joel :). I don't know how I missed that.

Looks like I missed the deadline :(. Guess I'll have to do the singles league in the fall. Should give me enough time to get my skills back I guess.

bieker, are you looking for a team? What level are you and where are located? I'm from S.E michigan and might be able to help you find a team. Registration has closed yet, just the initial team registration. Which means in order to have a team, you had to have at least 8 people signed up by April 1st. There are still lots of teams looking for players depending on your rating. Hit me up and I can try to help you work things out. E-mail me at aj4592 at wayne dot edu.

Thanks guys but I found a local league here in my town. I haven't picked up a racket in like 2-3 years, so I'm probably best taking it slow :).

Can I ask where you've decided to play at? Just curious to know if we might run into each other at the clubs?
