Vintage Rossignol racquet - Info?

Picked up a Rossignol Graphite 200 the other day and just had to bring it home since I had never run across one before. Very thin frame that feels like its made out of wood, yet has the word Graphite in its model name. Kinda, sorta similiar to the Head Vilas design yet thinner beam. Features the Rossi inverted V bridge at the bottom of the head. Typical Rossi high quality manufacturing with a beautiful black finish.

Anyone have any info on this frame, i.e. time frame sold, materials, play characteristics, etc.?

I was just googling, looking for a piece of my childhood -- I had this racquet, I do believe.... Had a few of them...

A picture would be worth a lot here, but the Rossi I had was indeed wood underneath a carbon wrap. This was during the time when steel (wilson T2000) was too heavy, Prince was selling aluminum, and carbon was the next generation.

Those crafty French just wrapped a wood frame in carbon for strength and voila: a masterpiece. It felt nothing like wood, nothing like carbon, in that it had a lot of power from the whippiness of wood, but structural rigidity and control that wood couldn't offer.

They were so sweet -- for the time.

I'd be very careful about playing with it -- I broke so many of these. They were fragile creatures.

I seemed to remember there was a 100, 200 and 400, but that is going back too many years to recall accurately...
