First off, thank goodness that nothing happened to Fed when that idiot came out onto the court and touched him. Kudos to Pascal Maria for stepping up, and what an embarrassment to RG security (horrible).
Here's the question though. Let's say this idiot gets to Fed, takes out a knife, and slits Feds right arm to the point that he has serious damage and can't continue playing. What happens in the outcome of the match since this is a GS final? Do you automatically give the match and trophy to Soderling since Fed can't continue (due to "injury"), which is what I think would happen. Certainly you can't continue the match at another time cause recovery would delay it too long.
So what does the rulebook say? And if you made the rules, what you would say?
