What Is This Called? (Sensation from a Racquet?)

Is this the feel or something? I've hit with a racquet that was:
95 inch head. 289 grams. 18 by 20 string pattern. (Wilson nCode nSix.One.Team)
And then a racquet that was:
100 inch head. 300 grams. 16 by 19 string pattern. (Babolat Pure Drive GT)

The Wilson was strung to a high tension, in the sixties and the Babolat was in the low fifties. Wilson was Big Banger w/ Synth Gut, Babolat was xcel.

When I hit the ball with the Babolat there is a really nice sensation, almost as if the ball was penetrated the strings or something (sounds a bit rude, but that's the only way to describe it...), whereas the nCode feels horrible. It feels like a shaky plank of wood or something... Out of the racquet characteristics I've listed what makes this feeling? And what's the correct term for it? Is it "feel"?

Bingo! It does almost feel as if the ball as sunken into the strings in a really crisp clean way.

18x20 are meant to pocket less for more control. Less deformation in the stringbed translates to better or more precise input from the swing....

I like the 18x20 feeling but not the stiffness so i go with a syn gut and nat gut.
