which shoes to use for grass/ astro?

I've got a tournament coming up in a few weeks, played on grass if the weather is OK, astro if not. I was wondering which shoes would provide better grip, Nike Air Max Breathe IIIs or Wilson Challengers (herringbone sole). Thanks for advice.

by the way, purchasing other shoes really isn't an option, just want to know which of the two you would recommend for grass/astro.

In the name of science, I bought a pair of Cage II grass shoes to try on omni, since I haven't been able to find a comfortable omni shoe.

Based on my first outing, it works like a dream. Excellent grip, no loss of footing at all, and I was really being yanked around the court. Durability is obviously the big question...only time will tell.

If you can't get grass specific shoes, I'd have to say the Yonex SHT 305/306s are the shoes to go for as they have whats close to a dimple pattern outsole.

Who'd have thunk it?

I popped into a futures tourney played on astro...to my surprise, many players were using soccer boots (astro versions). In fact, this was so prevalent that I saw one doubles match where all four players were using footie boots. Most popular by far: Nike Total 90, the one with the '90' embedded in concentric circles on the tongue.
