Worst strokes in the year end ATP top 10

Forehand: It’s tough because everybody has a great forehand. Id go Medvedev, I think he lacks the same tools the rest of them do. Maybe Hurkacz too.

Backhand: Either Ruud or Tsitsipas. Id say Stef because a one hander is just not gonna be as good as a two hander, plus I think Casper has improved it.

Serve: Fritz? I feel like his serve isn’t as good as the other top guys. Nadal’s serve is also down there but not as bad as Taylor’s I think.

Volley: Medvedev. Good god. But I also never see Rublev up there so idk how good he is.

Overhead: The king himself, Novak Djokovic.

Watch people destroy you for suggesting a 1hbh is not as effective as a 2hbh in a baseline centric era.

Federer’s career was upended by a teenager who looped forehands to his one hander dfkm.
Oh I agree, but on this forum the 1hbh is supposedly superior to the far more stable, consistent, easily timed, controllable shot which every best backhand is because it looks cool

Fritz has one of the best serves on the tour.

A set of terms that condense to boring. People watch tennis to be entertained by art. A 1HBH is more pleasant to watch.

Tsitsipas backhand is far from art. One of the most artificial looking stroke productions out there.
I could imagining things but I feel like it used to be better, it used to be looser and more natural looking. Now it looks very forced and tight, and the follow through doesn't look like a natural result of the swing, it looks like he forces it at the end.

We’re dumping on it pretty hard here it’s not that awful if he had a slice we’d talk about it way less but in terms of aesthetics I don’t find it all that pleasing. Maybe it used to be smoother but I don’t really remember.

That's why I think Feliciano (he is, practically, a former player) should join Nadal's technical staff and help him improve his serve even more; in this way he could win, in addition to RG, a last Major tournament off clay with his new groundstroke.
:D

Yeah it’s actually quite sad. The tour regularly targets OHBH’s yet there’s so much hype around them.
