I found a rep that has plenty of demo Yonex racquets for sale. Two frames that I used to play with in the past (that I played well with may I add) and in fact have been wanting back badly are the Yonex Ultimum RQ 1500 (105) and the Ultimum RQ 1700 (98).
If I remember correctly, I used to be fearless with those sticks and won my first two USTA tournaments with them. I remember how solid I used to be with those racquets (I used the 1500 in 02 and part of 03 and the 1700 in 03-early 04)...I really want to switch back to those racquets. Now that I have the opportunity to purchase a few in the model of my choosing in bulk...which should I get?
I am a 4.5 player with very powerful strokes...mostly flat...can spin balls in from time to time. Big server. Love to take the ball early and hit winners....average net skills, etc. It's been a while since I've hit with these yonex's...what do you think?
CURRENT RACQUET: Yonex RDX 300 98 (I love this racquet at times, but doesn't give me the consistent shot-after-shot feel that I like that I remember with my old Ultimum frames)
