Hi,

Ive seen on the yonex japanese site that there are "tour" and "power" versions of the yonex NSRQ 7....I havent seen these anywhere else.

Does anyone know where you can get these from, or if not can you buy them direct from Japan and how easy is this?

Any help would be great, thanks!:)

Well, Yonex says you can't buy them in the US. Ordering from Japan, even if possible, would be ridiciously expensive even for British prices.

Do you know or have you heard anything about them being made available outside japan anytime??

Or how different is the normal NRSQ 7 from the tour version and how could you customize one so that its more like the tour version?

Technically, you would have to chop one down half an inch and add lead at the handle, the throat and the head to match the tour version. So, I would just move on to another racquet.

If you want to make your NSRQ7 more solid start with putting some lead at the throat inside the arms of the V. If you still think you need more lead, remove the grip, apply more lead, place another grip. Then you can add small amounts of lead in the 3 and 9 to adjust the SW and the sweet spot. See http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/LC/Customizing/customize.html for more info.

Well, if you translate the prices from Yen, you'll discover the Japanese are paying almost twice as much for tennis racquets when compared to us. I don't even want to think how much it would cost to pay Japanese prices and then have it shipped!
