Barricade 7s

I just picked the same exact B7 shoes today from a local store. Breaking it in around the house before taking to the courts tomorrow/weekend. The first thing that hit me was how comfortable it feels compared to the B6. Feels wider although the box did not say whether it is a medium width vs the past narrower Barricades, or the CourtBallistec shoes for that matter. This is a keeper.
:)Thanks for the report !:)

Fine mate, you are lucky, go check the adizine, there is all your answer.
since it is random hope luck is on my side.
I did pick barricade 4.......didnt win :(

Is that orange or red on the black/white versions up on TW--kinda hard to tell. Hoping for red!!

I hope they come out with blue B7's. The orange/white ones are nice though. It sucks that most people said the fit was about the same as the B6. They are way too narrow.

Did you watch the preview? I like the way the guy keeps pumping his fist like a complete noob. Way to hit a sick volley winner against that chick. Whata cheese-ball

Well, he has got to pump himself up sometimes as he doesn't get very many chances to do that against that "chick". :)

Looks like one of the major online merchants have the B7s for sale on their website. Com'on TW, update your site and start selling.

Thanks for the info. This is helpful. I'm hoping that the VII's are a bit wider in the forefoot than the VI's. We shall see.

Do your's feel a little bigger in length? I'm about to hit the courts today for the first time with today but in walking around the house with them, they feel a 1/2 size bigger then the B6 that I have. However when I measure them up to each other, they're even, and even when I match up the insoles. For some reason though, I feel like I'm swimming in them a little bit.

Wanted to know if you felt the same. I may go back to try on 11 1/2's.

Quoted for truth . . .

NOT!

The fist pumping started as a joke when we were shooting videos. It has since become an ingrained habit of mine that I can't shake -- so much so that it is in danger of replacing me saying, "DYNAMITE!" too much.

Don't tell anyone (Britt already knows, so you can tell her), but that volley I hit at 3:45 into the review was just deep, so I threw an extra aggressive pump in there to sell it. :)

Maybe Chris can answer this, although he never mentioned either way in his review. I recall reading a rumor a while back that they were running a half size big.

Length fit felt the same between the 6 & 7 to me. I'm one of three to wear them here and everyone has stayed in size.

Btw, what's your head to head record against Britt?

Has anybody else noticed that the barricade 7 is listed at 16.5 ounces while the VI's were at 16.7 ounces....Wasn't there supposed to be a 30gram weight reduction? wtf??

There's a white/blue/orange CW of the B7... along with white/orange and yellow/orange CW's for the feather
There's also a black/high energy and a white/grey Omni-version with "Prime Blue" Stripes.

The color of Tsongas RG-shoes is named "Ultra Green" if that isn't mentioned before.

I did the math and it was a mere 6 grams less. Are the stats wrong, TW?

That looked ridiculous. The guy looks like he's only been playing tennis for 6 months too.

I think these shoes are the worst looking barricades ever. I definitely won't be buying these. I don't care how they feel, I'm not wearing shoes that look that bad.

You think adidas will send me some B7's to replace a 6 month warranty pair of CC Genius II's I got in July? I sure hope so :) I won't know until January when I send them in though. For now, I get to enjoy the last of the genius line

Highly doubt it. Maybe if they were another Barricade that's no longer available.

I think so. I remember reading posts in the past that someone sent in their CC genius and got the barricade 6 in return. I don't think they make the CC genius or a newer version of it anymore.

I was wondering the same thing. I was expecting the B7 to be 16 ounces or even a little less than that. Maybe TW made a mistake. I'm sure they will fix it.

Other CWs cited here--where?

Where are you seeing these CWs? I've looked on the TW site, Adidas' own site, and at their "ad"-zine and don't see the white/blue/orange combo or the white/grey/prime blue....am I missing something? Thanks.

I think those CW's were from some of the early posts from the miadidas.com stuff. If you look at pics posted of those, instead of saying "Barricade" on the shoe, they say "Mi Adidas".

Don't like the B7 colorway for this season, don't feel like paying the money for customizing, I guess I'll have to buy something else.

I got a older Wilson all white tennis shoe online and it better then Barricade 6 or 7! Glad I looked around. Much nicer looking and got tons of compliments. I guess the old play white looking shoe is hard to find but is attractive to a lot of tennis players - especially the older people.

I guess the old plain white looking tennis shoe is hard to find but is attractive to a lot of tennis players - especially the older people who are more conservative.

I tried them today at a store. Didn't buy them. They seem as narrow as the 6s in the front and the upper was hard and tough on the sides of my feet.
