Cannot ask for a more dramatic final than this. Which final has had more drama after just 3 sets of tennis? On one hand we have Nadal up 2 sets and at 2-0 heading for straight sets victory, and then we have Djokovic winning 8 games in a row with absolute momentum. Now we have play suspended which will likely change momentum and perhaps conditions if they resume when its a bit dryer another day. This is a perfect final in my opinion, and exactly what I was hoping for-

But what if Djoker does win his Grand Slam? Will you hide and cry for the rest of the year until Nadal wins another title in Monte Carlo?

I feel like djokovic has had his momentum halted but if he can win the 4th set tonight, coming out for the 5th tomorrow could help him. maybe.

If he somehow pulls that fourth set out. Still, anything can happen. But, if he does, then despite all the dominance that Nadal showed to get the lead at the start, will have vanished. It becomes a one set shoot out.

It's not longer a marathon, but a one set sprint, if they play tomorrow. And if any of the two players serves incredibly well for just one set, since that is all that willl be played, they can win. It really does open up then.

But, first, we need to know if Novak can take Rafa the distance.

Novak needs to take the advice of Mikaela Bryan!

Yeah, that had every thing to do with FO2008 final. A scared Federer started that final.

If the fans, the rain, and that now or never adrenaline rush didn't wake him up, he was very timidly going to give up the title. It was when his back was against the wall, and Nadal sensed the moment also, that all of sudden, there is a spring his step, and much more snap in his wrist.

The rest of the match, was then very evenly contested, all the way to the end.

Oh please, all anecdotal ...

Both players stepped onto the court that day.

He didn't exactly get smashed first two sets.

Someone post a live stream please?

Mine have gone offline or switched channels ...

And television in this country doesnt cover sports that dont have competitors from this country ...

Nadal was 100% correct. Why did they not use covers earlier? They have covers on now but not during the first rain delay. In addition to the late start, talk about a poorly run tournament...

this is my least favorite of the 4 grand slams - and this is also poorly run - why start at 3:00 p.m. when you have a chance of rain in the forecast. Idiotic

7AM East, 4AM Pacific tomorrow morning.

I will be seriously compromising my Monday at work by getting up to watch this...Oh well, only live once I guess.

This is ridiculous, why did they start it so late?

My thought exactly...they should have started the match 11am. If they had, at lest the 4th set could have been completed, and possibly the 5th..just stupid, start the match early as possible if weather is in doubt.

Aw, I like how Santoro talks.

Well this is typical. I was hoping there would be a rain delay as I have tomorrow off....but then I was also hoping that Fed would've been in the final, so....

Nadal should just concede and be done with it. By losing that 3rd set he gifted the match to Rolaids.

A big I told ya so to Towser and company as well.

Wonderful. No doubt I will have to watch it on a stream, too, as there is no way my local NBC affiliate will show tennis over whatever daily morning show normally airs that gets better ratings.
