What was the last movie you watched?

The Lorax - A decent family film. Thought the fish sounded like a copy of the "minions" in Despicable Me.

Have the hunger games sitting at how waiting to be watched.

I also watched The Lorax last night, I think it is a good movie, at the beginning was actually kind of scary though!

Saw Another Earth a couple of days ago, great movie, kind of scary too, a bit slow at times though but good overall.

Agree, there were some intense parts in the beginning. During the Onceler's "how bad can I be" song my daughter asked why he was singing an evil song.

Did you like the ending of another earth? I wish it went a bit farther.

C'mon awesome flick.......another great flick from Joss Whedon and even better than the classic Evil Dead movies. Just can't talk to much about it as you will ruin the twists. If you liked Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse and zombie, alien, ghosts, demons, haunted house horror movies Cabin in the Woods is a killer. It's also funny as hell.

I'm probably still pissed by the ending. Could've been longer for sure.
It was certinly funny especially no doubt there.

Adventures of Tin Tin - Loved it. One of the better animated movies I've seen recently. I daughter loved it and asked for a copy for her B-day. Animation was great. Managed to look photo-real to a point while not engaging the uncanny valley. Only thing I found sort of weird is a 13-16 year old boy that owns a gun. I know the cartoon was from a different time, but I wasn't expecting that.

Hunger Games - Better than I thought, even though the peace keeper uniforms look like something borrowed from a 70's sci-fi movie. Can't see how anyone involved in that whole process could be considered a good guy, even the people supporting Katnis (sp?).

I liked it; thought it is not Bill Murray's best work. Plan is to watch most of Bill Murray's movies...

Anybody remember the first "Tremors" with Kevin Bacon, Michael Gross, and Reba McIntyre?

Really good movie. A total surprise. The follow ups ... not so much.

Red Lights *ing Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy

Brilliant concept ... "psychic versus scientist" ... and the movie starts off great to 3'forts of the movie...then it loses all its legs and ends with the ******** ending ever

The Master

Paul Thomas Anderson needs an editor. His films ramble too long, try to say too much, but never fail to provoke lots of thought, as this one does. Terrific welcome-back performance by Joachin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman is also superb.

The Dark Knight Rises. Loved it. Some idiots left somewhere near the end, loudly complaining. I never cease to be amazed y people's rudeness. :-?

Wow, I didn't know he had a new movie out. Got to watch it, love his movies.

The only one I thought could have used some 15 minutes less was Boogie Nights.

you dont watch movies, you dont listen to music, you dont like relationships. What do you do?? ;)

Did you just ask NSK what he does ? *SHOCK!!!*

All the hours spent on TW (using various monikers) in vain ! He also runs a business of some sort when he finds time from TW. Or so he said.

He also said he has 4 TV's in his house and can afford to smash one. (So he has 4 TV's but doesn't watch movies!!).

when Cage says it.. response from Connery is..

Losers always whine by doing their best,
Winners go home and f@#k the prom queen

A Good Old Fashioned Orgy - Pretty funny movie, good overall, and despite the title the sex actually doesn't get in the way of the comedy.

The Oranges

Oddly titled for a cluster of north New Jersey towns -- the action takes place in West Orange, though apparently it was filmed in New Rochelle, NY for financial reasons. Fairly unremarkable story of middle age marital angst, interesting to see Hugh Laurie (House, M.D.) in a different sort of role.

Argo

Very well made drama/thriller about Iran hostage crisis, 1979. Fine direction by Ben Affleck, who also produced and stars in the film.

I finally watched Moneyball. Been putting it off for awhile but watched it right after the Yankees lost.

I really enjoyed it and I'm tempted to read the book.

3/5 - it's a bit slow.. maybe the star power made me expect too much

watched some good ones:

The Fly How did I miss this one ? I love good sci-fi. It was made in 1986 and is pretty good.

Seeking a friend for the end of the world. Okay movie.

Prometheus. I like work done by Ridley Scott, so I liked this one as well. Though, I hope there is a sequel to deal with all the unanswered questions.

Grabbers. A sci-fi horror comedy from Ireland =) it was fun, though not as good as Slither.

As long as he doesn't summon the hideous Boston accent!

I can't stand any dialogue with that dialect; absolutely horrible! Ben and Matt seemed to make sure every other movie they did included their Massachusetts roots, at one point
