Yes, that's fine
I've posted on the prediction league thread why I think this is grossly unfair.
Nothing against said poster but it rather makes a mockery of playing games/rules/rankings/race.

Also the practicalities: this would only apply to a poster in personal contact with another poster.

Does this type of thing happen a lot in the PL?
I don't actually have a contingency plan for when a poster gets temp banned whilst still active in a tournament, but wants to continue. If @RS92 can provide proof of the communication, that may open up further discussion on this.

Presumably the same poster has been banned from the PL - I don't know if they should be allowed to continue until the ban is overturned, depends on what the other admins think.

@Krish872007 I can provide proof of the communication but if the majority thinks that this is unfair then there is no point of doing that.

And about the appeal, she just said to me "Im not allowed to contact the adm in the forum".

So, whatever you decide it's ok and she will have to accept that. I'm fine with whatever happens.

H to the no! A banned poster should not be allowed to play. Especially posters who don't respect the rules and blame others for their ban. At the end of the day you're responsible for what you post on here.

H to the no!

It's bizarre - some very decent people got 3 day bans (myself included :) but I had it rescinded given there was no actual reason why).
Apparently many received them. That said, there have been a few posters lately where reason is not their friend so maybe it escalated?

You were banned? Whatever for?

First time ever! But lasted an hour approx once I found out.
I thought it was a glitch.
I've no idea why Ghost and Meles were? Seems harsh.

Glad you sorted that out. Can't imagine you being banned. As for those two, the less said...:D

Since Querrey just killed everyone I think I somehow limp into the elite 8?

I started the year so good its been a trainwreck since Wimbledon.

@kvejkr and @boredone3456 seal the next couple of Elite 8 spots thanks to the Querrey Carnage.

So here we go, it all comes down to this. @The Green Mile needs 3 more correct picks to make the WTF Bonus Competition and jump to #6 in the Race. If he fails, @JadeC will just about hold on to that last spot.

Who's your money on?

This is the only MS1000 64-draw that gives byes to all 16 seeds, making it harder. Add in there are only 8 matches and no matches on Sunday and it's ridiculously harder.
Which is fine unless the points awarded in this game are meant to be similar to points awarded to ATP players, where early round matches are generally easier and thus the winner receives fewer points. Has there ever been a consideration to awarding byes to the top SDL players for these events, just like the top ATP players are given byes in the first round?
