Groth was quite impressive in that Federer match at the US Open (although Federer sucks, as we found out vs. Monfils and Cilic).
I see very good things in Groth's future.

Wow if Federer sucks as you claim he does, I guess everyone else who's ranked below him sucks even more :-?

And I guess since Federer sucked vs Cilic, so does everyone else was @ USOpen 2014 since he became a GS Champion.

Can you stop being an idiot and just enjoy the sport?

Nadal sucks too (as we found out vs. Kyrgios, Coric, Klizan, Lopez, Berrer).
The difference was that Monfils and Cilic were GOATing, while Nadal prefers to lose to no-hopers in the 1R.

Seriously, could you even write an easier comment to attack?
That was a sitter.

Right, but do not forget that majestic (?) match against Robredo in US Open 2013. Worst match I have seen from him in ages!

Terrible line umpiring in the Dolgo/Klizan match.

So frustrating to pay attention to Dimitrov. He should be winning these matches.
Dimitrov certainly has the talent to succeed. But for numerous reasons, he is not able to consistently play at a high level like he did at Wimbledon.

I think the winner of the title will be either Federer or Nishikori.

I think people are barking up the wrong tree with Dimitrov and expecting too much. He is a top ten type of guy but I don't see him going out and winning multiple slams.

Kei Nishikori looks alright so far. I have no idea what Roger Federer's form is right now so I would wait until he plays a match to judge his level.

I agree with your assessment. Grigor Dimitrov's potential is somewhat inflated due to the comparisons between himself and Roger Federer. He really has not done anything beyond what the likes of Milos Raonic or Kei Nishikori have accomplished, but who do not receive as much hype.

Dimitrov can't handle the power like the original Fed, that's why he looks a bit hepless against the big hitters.

Yes, that comparison has not done him any favors personally. The Federer comparison has only helped him gain endorsement opportunities and enabled the ATP to push him as the next big thing. They need to have somebody marketable to promote the game from the younger generation.

Got a good feeling Chardy's about to sneak this one out
Looking at their head to head record, Jeremy Chardy has given Grigor Dimitrov tough matches in the past. He straight setted him at Roland Garros and took him to five sets at the Australian Open.

Yes yes yes!
Dimi stays alive!

Dunno why, but I dislike Chardy.
