I like Mackie’s strokes, they’re clean. I’ll be rooting for him from now on. That is all.
2:13 yesterday combined in singles and dubs for Sinner; 2:45 in singles vs Nishikori alone for McDonald. Big difference, even before considering that McDonald was the later singles match yesterday with less recovery time as a result.Sinner played a lot of tennis given how far his dubs team played. they had an excellent dubs match on Tuesday. Wednesday, he played in pure sun court. Sinner was looking good. I didnt realize he was over 6’ due to the other taller players in his dubs match.
am impressed by the focus of players on the courts in DC, due to close proximity to fans.
Ugh!Surfdude broken. Sinnerman fired up.
I am at the match. It was really hot but the court is shaded now and it's cooling. Certainly helps Mac. Sinner looking a little gassed now.
Glad someone was able to enjoy! Hope you are enjoying it!!
I'm here too! I think this is the first Final I've ever seen live.
You betcha! Tournament is called Citi Open, after CitibankThat's a lot of bankers and useless chatter for an award ceremony... must be Washington DC huh?
I watched a total swap out during a Rafa match, diverse ballkidsBallboys look like college students!
Depends on where he was after Wimbledon. The cut date is six weeks prior to play. According to live-tennis chart, Mac gained 43 spots this week so he’s on the cusp. Probably within the first half-dozen alternates for MD.Mac to #64! Automatic USO spot.
Sinner captures the title, 7-5 in the third. He joins JMDP as a teen champion at Washington and could possibly tie the Tower of Tandil at 4 teenage trophies if he grabs the Toronto title this next week, his last as a teenager. Scary stat to consider: even if he does win Toronto for that fourth title as a teen he would just be reaching one-quarter the haul by teenage Nadal. No one will ever touch that record.
