This shows why Federer is better and more adaptable than a primitive stubborn **** like Pete Sampras, who lived and died with his 85. Federer would have dominated the 90's while Sampras would have floundered in the 2000's.

10 minutes into his first match with this racquet and you act like Federer has regained the number one ranking with it. :-?

Sampras played like an absolute champion with that PS 85 at the 2002 USO. Playing with a 100 sq inch racquet would not have helped Pete win the FO as his movement was very poor on that surface. Ridiculous how you used something like this as a platform to hate on Sampras. Those are tactics only Sampras' fanboys use.

The important question is not weather Federer will win this clay event but if he will stick to the new racket in the big events in North America.

Federer adjusting his racquet, "Zis is too big, zer are too many minute adjustments to be made betveen points, I no longer look cazual!"

I see the racquet has done wonders for his break point conversion.

At the moment Breakpoint seems to be right:)
The shanks do stay the same with a 98 head!( I know, it's too early to judge completely, but you have to tease a little bit)

Looks like so far there are some control issues, and perhaps not as confident in going for his shots when it matters. I hope he pulls it together and wins this one; he needs confidence with this new stick.
