the reasons why its a bad racket its because it has no control, Its a 50% miss shot, only if you hit it fast maybe you are lucky to choose the direction you want, and it doesnt feel like the same aero rafa is using which is way better.
He is definetely using a secret pro stock under the paintjob really,

His control skills are beyond belief tbh. Its just insane a guy who just started his career with 19 years old has such control.

I always love it when 3.5 players just rubbish a racquet. Write long reviews on TW about how everything was good but not good on volleys, serve etc.
Most teaching pros could kick ass with a frying pan
100%. During my junior playing days, had a coach teach me that it's the proper strokes, skills, and dedication that make the player.

Now that I'm old and out of shape, it's definitely the racquet's fault.

I've got a frying pan tournament on Friday. Hoping the swing-weight is less than 1000.

Sorry to tell you, he just plays better tennis than you. A lot.

And the VS is far from a bad racket anyways - it has a very unique launch angle and the aero profile also requires quite some adaption as well.
But other than that is a great platform racket. I rather struggle to believe that he hasn't customized it a lot, but generally why wouldn't he use it?

Actually, what are the chances he's using the aero storm 2013 under the PJ? The two iterations weren't bad racquets. Sorry for geeking out in the wrong section but might as well ask here.
As awesome as that would be it is not the aero storm gt or cortex. No visible cortex in the throat, no woofer grommets that stick out at the bottom of the hoop, no traditional box beamed hoop, and has the tapered bumper where the storms have a flat ending for the gt. The vs 2016 has a similar taper bumper but all of the rest still applies. Looks like to me alcaraz is still using the vs 2020. :)

And the 2016 Vs was really a bad racket in comparison for me
I really like the 2020 version - haven't tried the new 98. But the 2020 vs is a difficult racket that once you get used to it, you feel like you can do anything.

Maybe in Alcaraz hands rather than in yours?

That’s because you need Nole’s real racquet...can however revisit if Sinner sneaks a major.

The rackets used by pros are quite different from the ones you buy at the tennis shops. I realized that after years I bought and played with lots of rackets without being able to achieve the level of the pros.
