Piece of sh1t forehand which probably a few hundred guys in history have had a better one. Even his backhand isnt the best today, let alone ever.

Could you please calm down!

your irrational ranting takes away from what might be a sane argument!

Overall off both sides when given time and the player is playing well:

Agassi, Davenport, Seles, Lendll

Backhand specific:
Kuerten, Henin, Venus, Davenport

Forehand specific:
Federer, Graf, Agassi, Nadal

Agassi

2006 Federer, his backhand was just as lethal, he was crushing them dtl. His forehand was the biggest AND most consistent shot tennis ever saw

Two out of three ain't bad.
A year ago, I would have agreed with you on all three, but somebody here pointed out that Rajah shanks and mishits a fair amount of groundstrokes. I started comparing him to his opponents and he does do it more than inferior opponents.
Lendl's constant power is forgotten nowadays.

Federer in 2006 had one of the best one handed backhands ever. He's getting older, his timing goes slightly off, and timing is EVERYTHING with his grips, his technique, his one-hander.. It just went down pretty fast.

I wouldnt say 06 federer had a lethal backhand. It was much better and more consistent but his backhand was never a weapon.

Does slicebackhand count as a groundstroke? If it does, I defenitely disagree with you, if it doesn't I still disagree with you. Federer could hit passing shots from wherever he want with that backhand and it was just incredible to watch. The insane flicks, the consistency down the line etc. etc. IMO it was not one of the best ever, but together with his forehand he;s right up there imo. However, that consistency of his backhand, he didn't have it for very long, so I'd defenitely put some guys over him, but his prime backhand is underrated because we think of what we see now.

I guess you are right. Maybe it is tough to recall all those times Federer was hitting his backhand well. I agree on the slice backhand. Federer was never a player who would hit tons of backhand winners but he knew how to use his backhand (topspin and slice) to set himself up for those massive forehands.
