Looking for advice for Head Twin Tube Radical Tour (Candy Cane)

hello guys, I try to give some more information so I can get some advice from you all...

I played last months with the Youtek Radical Pro 16x19 with combi WCUC / Lynx 18 @ 23 kg.
Last week I played with a Candy Cane MP with following setup WCUC / Lynx 18 @ 21 kg.
With new Head Pro balls it was a trampoline and I had problems with the power.

Yesterday I added 6 grams of lead tape @ 12 o'clock and string my racket with Lynx 18 @ 22,5 kg.
My racket is now 362 grams and balance is 31,8 cm.

Today I played with 2 times used Head ATP balls and my problem was that I had less power then a normally want.
My slice backhand feels totally wrong....

I need some advice :). The racket feels good. My old Youtek Radical Pro feels hollow and "cheap"
I dont't now how to say it in English

I prefer power and also control. What I most like is a good feeling with the ball with long contact point. Hopefully you know what I mean ;).
I have the following strings to use: Hawk Touch 18, Lynx 18, RIP Control 17, Head SG PPPS 16, Head Reflex MLT 16.
I'm thinking to create a hybrid with Lynx / Reflex @ 22,5 / 21,5 or RIP Control 22,5 / Reflex 21,5 kg.
Is this a good option

Is my twistweight maybe to low for my slice backhand?
Is it a good option to put some lead tape a 3 and 9 o'clock for some more stability for the slice backhand.

Please guys give me some advice :)

I feel the same as you about the Radicals. The old ones like the Candy Cane are solid and heavy. I feel the weight is too far toward the head and creates too much power though. Adding weight has never been my thing but if I were it would be under the grip on the old racquets.

The only Radical I really liked was the last of the 18x20 MP versions; the Youtek IG Radical. It feels solid and is a nice racquet. My recommendation is to try that one or try a thin gauge poly in very low tension at somewhere in the 30-35 lbs or 13-17 kg where the ball will dwell on the strings and really flex the frame to absorb that power.

@dak95_00 Thans for your reaction. I can give it a try but how do you think of the following things???

The Candy Cane feels solid and heavy, but it miss something. Today I strung a racket with RIP Control 17 / Head SG PPPS @ 22,5 / 21,5 kg.
It was also not the feel that I want.

This week I give it a new try, but I remove the 6 grams off leadtape at 12 o`clock. It decrease the SW with 20 points.
Maybe is this the solution to create more power with my swing. Overall the racket was today 368 grams and maybe it´s to heavy.

I can reduce the overall weight further. I have 1 replacement grip (Head Dual Absorption and 2 overgrips Head Xtreme Soft).
I have a TK82 pallet size 3. Maybe I can get size 4 so I can eliminate 1 overgrip. The overall weight wil reduce 8,5 grams and balance goes up.

It sounds like you are trying way too hard to make the racquet work for you when it's not a good fit.

If you like the 98 headsize and 18x20 pattern, you should also try the older Babolat Pure Strike Tour. In the Orange/Black paint, it's inexpensive and it's a solid feeling racquet that has some weight to it. My 5.0 friend plays it and it hits a heavy ball.

@dak95_00 Maybe you are right that I want to fit this racket for my game:).
But the history and solid feel of this racket is great, so I wanna give it a try to make it fit..

At this moment I removed the 6 gram of leadtape @ 12 and put it @ 3 & 9 for extra stability for my slice backhand.
This will be my next session to try. If it still not fit I have still 3 options:

1) String at lower tension what you suggested. Maybe the Head Lynx 18 @ 18 kg....
2) Try a multifilament string Head Reflex MLT 16 @ 20 or 21 kg.
3) Reduce some weight in the handle to decrease the static weight and move the balance point higher.

G.O.A.T.
Used to wield candycane mps with 12 grams of lead under the grip and a few grams of silicone under the buttcap.
Had Caps grommets on them and for me,
17 gauge ALU power mains and Xone biphase 16 gauge crosses at 50 lbs did the job.
Dwell and plow.
