Are you playtesting this shoe? Just curious if any of you have tried it and what your thoughts are.

We just got our playtesting shoes yesterday from Nike. Haven't had a chance to play in them yet. Review will come out in about 2-3 months as we have a lot of shoes we are currently playtesting,.

Thanks! The blue is a really pretty shoe and was thinking about giving them a run. Hopefully they'll be on sale soon.

Curious if this playtest is wrapping up, but my main question is whether playtesters are finding these more durable than the Vapor 9.5?

We are about halfway through the playtest. Chris has found the durability to be around comparable to the Vapor 9.5. He would approximate if he was wearing them full time, around 8-9 hours. Right around the same as the Vapors. However, we will know more in a week or two.

Glad I waited until after the review to possibly purchase these. Sounds like I am going to stick with Vapors.

Yeah, I agree. It seems like Nike addressed the comfort issues with the upper. But the forefoot area still has that bulky TPU wrap that doesn't flex right, and the outsole seems like it lacks both traction and durability. Both deal breakers, particularly at an eye-popping price point.

Also tried them on at a local store, and there is very little arch support and hits in a strange spot for my foot. Sounds like they don't have any advantages over vapors except possibly zoom in the forefoot. Hoping the Cage 3 coming out this fall is narrower, lighter, and fits closer to true size.
