I think "best class" it refers to Federer being the "best" tennis player - ever! And since he reinvented himself with a larger racquet, better backhand and more aggressive tactics like take the ball on the rise, coming up on second serves and more serve and volley; he has reshape his game with more weapons that of the past in which Federer either did not use or used sparingly. Federer is totally more tough on match play.
