If ever there was a time to quote the late, great Doris Day it's now. Not gonna lie, I'm already feeling nervous as all hell as I usually do before Djokovic plays a GS final but after watching the Fedal semifinal yesterday and seeing how much it meant to Roger after winning, a part of me will be happy for him if he does go on to hold aloft the trophy again tomorrow. I mean here's a guy who's been on the pro tour for more than twenty years and yet it still means so much to him despite everything he's already achieved. To have that level of motivation and desire at the age of 37/38 is nothing short of awe-inspiring and even if you're not a fan of his you have to respect what an incredible ambassador for the game he's been over the years.

After a disappointing ladies final here's hoping we get to see a great match between two legends of the sport we all love so much. :)

Have to be honest...im glad im watching as a neutral. It is a massive match and id not enjoy being a fan of either at the moment...i was bad enough before the Thiem match in Paris!

Im hoping Djokovic wins from purely a Nadal point of view. But whoever loses tomorrow is going to take alot of time to recover i would think.

Hope its a 5 set classic but ive a feeling we may see Djokovic in 4.

I'm not nervous at all. Novak already did this to Fred twice.

Not nervous at all. Maybe it was the big win against Rafa, or just settling for less since Fed has already given so much to the fans... But I am watching this with a very casual eye. Not too concerned about the result...

Then again come Sunday if Fed takes the first set, everything I just said will go right down the toilet.

Good for you, you seem humble. I won't be able to handle another loss though, this will be tough for me, since I believe both playing high level, Fed is better on grass. 0-3 in W finals would destroy my entire belief system. AT least in 2015 Fed didn't seem at his best, so it was easier to take the loss, plus Nole was god mode. This Nole is beatable and Fed is better, so this loss will hurt, I won't lie to you. And probably the last chance for Fed to beat Nole/Rafa back to back for the first time and at this age it would be incredible. This time I can't settle for less.

Sure that sounds nice and all but I'm gonna keep a small branch handy to bite down on if it stays close.
