*HELP* identify my Head iPrestige please?

This is an old racquet I’ve had for a long time and I’m just looking to work out what it is. I’m in the market for a new identical version but struggling to find something with same specs.

It’s the head intelligence prestige mid plus standard length model (made in Austria). It weighs 357g strung, no lead tape or other customisation on this frame either. All other accounts I find online put it at roughly 343 strung.

What racquet do I have?

That’s quite a heavy static weight compared to the published weight. Is there a leather grip? I don’t think iPrestige came with leather grip in stock form. Overgrip and thick strings would add to weight too. Finally, there may be lead tape under the replacement grip or bumper guard.

What is the balance point of the racquet? Need those info (static weight and balance point) to find alternatives.

I have a similar issue, just not as extreme (MIA)

Quality control of the old Head classics (MIA) is not as great as many people think. I have the same issue, have 6 i.Prestige MP's and there are significant variances among them. One of my frames had a 345 swing-weight without any lead or mods.

You just have a heavier spec i.Prestige MP.

You have an i.Prestige MP. How you weigh a racquet is UNSTRUNG with NO overgrip

This is proof that Homer Simpson is not an Urban Legend, but live individuals. I have had people ask me why you want to mod bare frames rather than something strung up. Doh!

Why are you weighing a racquet strung with an overgrip?
I was considering that strings would add 15-20g max + 4g which is what my OG weights. That would amount to 320 + 25 grams at most, which is considerably less than what I’ve weighted... My LM Radical Tour is on spot considering 15g of strings (so are my Gravity Pros, which are all on spot 315g + 17g strings + leather grip + OG)

That is not very nice of you and we both did nothing to imply we’re Homers. Weight can be estimated by math, as demonstrated below:

I’ve replaced the cushion grip with Head Hydrosorb Pro, which weights 14g. That’s close enough to the weight I’ve found on these forums for the LM original cushion grip (14.4g - didn’t find data on the intelligence series original cushion, but it’s safe to say it didn’t weight 9g more than this one, neither only 9g so that total racquet weight without cushion would amount to 320g).
I’ve also never modded this racquet (bought as a pair in 2004) - no lead under the CAP, no silicone, nothing.

(Strings were removed since they were dead anyway and this thread made me want to play with it again).

I suspect Head to lie about static weights just like they did to headsizes. My Head Radical LiquidMetal MP was +9 gram as well.

330 is right what it should be
