Any Head Flexpoint Prestige Midplus Users?

As for the Flexpoint Prestige MP, I hit with it for about 6 months, but it took some toying with to get it right. For me, I changed the Grip to a Volkl leather grip, added 10g of lead at 3 and 9 and strung it with Babolat VS mains @ 62# and Pro Hurricane tour crosses at 60#. For me, this offered a more stable feel, and it was better on serves and groundies. I still hit with it if I need some power help (for those lazy days) or just for fun sometimes. All in all it was a good frame for me, and if you're willing to play around with it I'm sure you can make it work for you.

Trust me, I'm not a great player at all, but some minor customizations can make a huge difference in the feel and play style of the racquet. When I bought mine, I played it stock for about two months, but it wasn't until I did some modifications that I really started to like the frame. If you like it, get one, try it out and go from there. Lead is easy to add and easy to take off, so you can play around a lot, some or not at all.

As a few of you probably know from a couple of my previous threads, I currently play with a Prince Triple Threat Warrior that was purchased about 6-7 years ago.

Lately I've been considering getting a new racquet, as I have taken lessons twice a week for almost a year now and my game has improved quite a bit from what it once was. My coach uses the Head Flexpoint Prestige Midplus, so I've been borrowing one of his for my last few lessons, and I really enjoy hitting with it. I seemed to get a good feel for it almost immediately and haven't had any trouble adapting to it. My coach has his strung at 63lbs. so that's what I've been hitting with.

Are there any other FXP Prestige MP users here? what are your thoughts on this racquet? let me know.

I demo'd about 15 sticks over a five month period last year and the FXP Prestige MP was my choice and I am not looking back. It has more pop than the LM Prestige and is more maneuverable for better spin. I also think it has a good crisp feel and the swingweight is ideal for me. I have been using it for over 8 months and I continue to get good results with it and it has been good on my arm. I compare it to the iPrestige in several ways. I am not a big fan of "techno gimmicks" and do not know what the flexpoints do, or don't do....but this is a nice frame and I recommend it for a demo.

Try that Head Rip Control 16 at 63#. You will like it!

Only complaint I had was elbow tenderness when using it.............rats!
