Went to check out the Niketalk Aggasi thread....boy kinda disappointing. Don't get the white buttons. Why tweak it?? I can see a material upgrade but the buttons change the aesthetic of the shirt. The other stuff in the line looks close.

I wonder what's up the the "A" logo. I still have the ring zipper shirt. If memory serves it was Tour de France inspired with the zippered pockets on the tail. This is a heavy shirt. Granted it's cut big and I got an XL cause that's how we rolled in the late 90s and early 2000's. [emoji23] I was 25lbs lighter then and it's huge on me now. [emoji2367]

The new Agassi shirt is a serious disappointment! The color isn't anywhere close to Hot Lava! Looks more red than anything. Can't imagine they mess it up this much!! Was going to grab one but passed. I'll wait till one of my fellow Niketalk Agassi Forum members (I go by 05FordGT) get their shirt in to see real pics. Then maybe, I'll change my mind.

Yes, it would be better if this were true Hot Lava, but it’s no different than with the different retro’s of the ATC II’s. Neither here, nor on NikeTalk do I recall anyone lamenting as much the “hot lava” color in the 2014 retro. The coloring on those was terrible. Maybe people don’t care as much as with the shirt because at this point you have four years of retro ATC’s to pick from.

I get you. But believe me, when the 2014 retro came out, there was a huge discussion/debate about the shade of color vs the 2008 pair (I have both, plus the newest 2019 and black lava pair). The shade on the 14 is darker than the 2008, but it still has its lava color to it. The shirt, from the images we have all seen shoes it being red. Even a shop had it paired with a pair of Nike running shoes with the same color swoosh and that was a red swoosh.

The list for the best to worst color for the retros is (from what I remember) 2008 was the best, then the 2016, then the 2019 then the 2014. Heck, even the Tech Challenge 20s shade is basically perfect. It just shows us Nike doesn't really care to get it right. I do like the other one though. They say it's volt but it looks more like Poison Green to me and would go well with the poison green ATC IIs.

I do like the Black/Volt shirt. I actually think it looks more volt than poison green. And did no one mention in those pics what appear to be actual denim shorts, albeit without the spandex?

I don't believe they did. That's another thing that bugs me. How can you make the shorts but not include the spandex under them! Totally missed the mark on that.

I feel like they buried that t shirt on the site. Search “challenge court” and it doesn’t show up. It’s just labeled as “men’s t shirt”

They sure did Brian. I used the link from NT to find it. That or the product code. But it's buried on NDC.

This is how Nike will justify that the Challenge Court products don't sell, when we, who want to buy it, can't find it on the website. They will say, " it all sat for months and had to be discounted. See retro clothing won't sell". Seen Nike do this in the past. The person who is running the website should be reprimanded. I almost want to send them a chat to tell them to change the item name so it's easier to find.

When are the retro Challenge Court apparel expected to be released?

I saw some women’s items up on another site. Just wondering when the men’s line will get a full release. I expect to see a lot of 50-somethings going nostalgic on court in the next few weeks

8/24. All polos are slim fit, the retro zipped polo is cropped in the front, the ‘Flaming Ball’ shorts are 9”. Some tees (shirt & long sleeve) has some pre-cracking on the logo.

Like David said, the NDC release date is 8/24. But some stuff is slowly filtering out on smaller sites. Nike.com had a retro archive Challenge Court t-shirt using the oversized logo. It was hard to find if you didnt have the link (they buried it in NSW). But it is a process trying to get everything I want piecemeiling it together, instead of getting it all at once. I've gotten so far the stuff below
*Archive Challenge Court t in white
Nkct Slam Shorts in both black & teal (large logo on right leg) Waiting for Volt pair to drop
*Challenge Court bucket hat reversible in black/white (lime/turq splashes)
*Waiting for the hats to release and then I'll grab the headbands.

I'd love NDC to get the stuff at once as I still have a 20% off code rearing to go with the shoes.

I just called my local tennis shop and he’s got the stuff, well at least what I’m looking for, but isn’t allowed to put it on the floor until the 24th.

The zip polo is loose fit and it should work for a lot of people unless you have a really long torso. I have a normal torso and it works for me. Just hits about the shorts waistband so it may not be as long as some people prefer.

Glad to help buddy. Had my wife pick up the slam shirt & shorts from Member Access today for my upcoming birthday. Can't wait to wear them together. I may look silly, but I've been waiting 30 years to do it, lol!! Once the rest go live then I can grab all the stuff together and be done. Would like to try on the turbos. I do want the Challenge Court ones, even if they aren't exactly like the picture from the catalog (swoosh is bigger/longer which covers the Challenge Court logo).

I'm the same with the GP Turbos. Kind of think they did a better job with the women's version of the colourway. Still so suprised that they messed around with the lava colour on some of the men's gear but still great.

Out of curiosity, is your use of the verb "drop" in this case related somehow to the notion that Nike is doing you a favour for believing in them? Like, literally, Nike are your gods that "drop" manna near the homes of the believers as in the Bible?

Damn those look great. Too bad the sizing is so ridiculous. Size 8.5 was equal in length to a size 10 barricade I had....
