For those who haven't seen the sneak peak shots, these were on Niketalk (I am a very frequent poster and was the one who posted (and removed) the Fall Nike catalog pics showing the US Open gear once I got a rather frantic call from the LTS.

Edit: seems like I still can't post photos? Really? Why is there a post limit for that? I don't post in here very often.
Hi, do you have any news about the coloring of the shoes and the release of ATC III? Will it be a modern reinterpretation?
Thanks

Which shoe models are you talking about? For the most part, it’s going to be volt, black, magenta, and emerald teal. In regarding to the ATCIII, there is no mention at this time.

They don't seem to have the venting (black part from the AO19 shorts) along the top of the buttocks... but it is hard to tell until better pics are released.
Oh, well I’m talking about the overall fit. I was in between sizes with a M and L. Decided to buy one in each size.

How did you find the fit? What size did you go with?
I don’t have a pair yet, but I’m sure it’s the same style like the one for ‘19 AO (denim) and RG (bumblebees) Both fitted fine, but went with the L too because it was kinda tight in the middle area with the M. The tights are obviously tight, but it also depends how big your thighs/quads are.

Purchase a Medium and Large In the Bumblebee RG shorts and medium was really tight in the middle. Great shorts but usually the flex 7' rafa shorts in medium fits fine, don't know how the fit compares with the regular 9' flex shorts. Hope that help

For anyone who wants to know, the release date for the US Open Agassi stuff is mostly all 8/1. The shorts won't be out for over a month yet. It's gonna be a LONG wait!!

As I stated, I own the ‘19 AO one and I got both in a M and L. Thanks though!

Is there still a scheduled release at the beginning of August? Anyone know what to expect for certain in that release? There are some plain black with volt and visa versa nadal shirts and matching shorts that I am anxious for on top of the retroed agassi gear.
Thanks all!

As far as I know, most of everything is releasing 8/01. All the Agassi retro gear are releasing 8/01. The Nadal gears will soon follow.

That’s what I figured. For those too young to have owned the original REAL denim shorts, they were the bomb.
Denim print look alike? Hard pass.
Bring back the real thing Nike.
That would be Epic!

Beating the "Nike Sucks" drum yet again? Your negativity gets really old. And you're wrong about this one. The Agassi polos, jacket, and denim shorts won't be hitting any clearance racks. You can mark it down.

I wish he was right, so I could get it cheaper!

But yeah, there's nothing from this Agassi range that will hang around.

Our wallets are going to take a pummeling over the next 2 months.

Let me add the real denim was lightweight, soft denim. Acid washed?
And what? It had a real zipper down fly!
I think is just way to unconfortable and hot, especially hot or just got a random acid wash denim and cut it or tailored, it's kind of a throwback not a re-issue. Also Flex shorts are light and breathable so is a nice way to keep fabrics fresh

Yeah I would hate to play in denim. I love the modern high tech fabrics in sportswear today

I haven't seen any new posts since some of the US Open gear has slowly trickled out. I got in the NikeCourt Printed Dri-Fit shirt. The one that matches up with the ATC III Hot Lime '90 attire. It's a wonderful piece. Very bright, vibrant, and definitely 90's!! I will say, for those who need to know, its listed as their "standard fit". I went up a size (to an XL) as I wanted it to be a little loose. I'm 6' 185 and I'm glad I got the size I did.

So this is the 1st of many pieces of the Nike collection that I am grabbing when they keep popping up. It's gonna be an EXPENSIVE month of August, but it's also been 30 years in the making for another chance of new Challenge Court gear from the '90 Final!!

“Hi you guys,
I just calculated to see how much I’ll spend if I get everything excluding the NKCT Flex Ace Shorts -CI9162-010, Nike Polo Challenge Court STND-CW3652-101 & CW3652-100, NKCT Dry Shorts Print 9”-CK9771-010 & CK9771-449, NKCT Dry Shorts 7”-939273-717 & 939273-425, NKCT Dry Shorts 9”-939265-717 & 939265-480, NKCT Pants NY-CQ9197-459 and lastly the NKCT Dry Top Print-CK9820-010 & CK9820-449 & CK9820-717. This total includes the headbands, bucket hats, and caps. So the whopping grand total you guys would spend is $1,913 excluding tax. If I add 7% (my state) it would be $2,046.91.” Talk about saving..:oops::laughing::(

Damn. I’m probably just going to buy a few shirts and maybe Nadal’s stuff.

Having worn them, I can definitively tell you, you “think” wrong. You’ve never worn the original.
Think again.

Most of us with less than 35 might not even used just even a piece of those outfits and we are used to the poly mix (Dryfit or whatever name you like to poly fabric) It's simple you like stretchy denim you can find that in most of the regular clothing retailers similar to what you like and can cut it. We would like to have reissue of this styles with new updated fabrics since we never got to see or wear anything similar. Also I can't see Shapovalov or FAA or Rublev endorsing real denim like you want because as much as you tell is not uncomfortable or hot the younger tennis player (Born since 90') won't be used to the weight if it gets wet or hot (We don't have the hype for Agassi as hard as you users of denim had back then) might be unconfortable (At least I can't see getting denim in hot, humid weather). So I'm glad there might be a chance to Vollaix that create that kind of fabrics so is a win win.

Bingo. Often times retro reduxes miss the mark (oscillate X looking at you)

But some people just want the look of the original with modern functionality. It is in the tagline itself: "Image is Everything"... we want the image of denim but no one wants to actually go play 95 degree tennis in flipping denim regardless of who wore it or how much stretch is in it.

I want to look like Agassi but feel like Federer :)

How can you put out opinions and presumptions on on something you’ve never worn?
I’m gonna say this one more time. It wasn’t denim like a pair of Levi’s. It was considerably thinner, soft, and made of cotton.

A breathable fabric.

I wore them in south Florida in grueling heat. Never an issue.

Only issue? Too short for today’s style.

I had the "demin" and hot pink shorts back in the day. Wore them for practices during my high school tennis days. I don't recall them being hot or anything odd.... but today's apparel is totally different. I can't imagine playing in a cotton polo shirt, now. Back then, a cotton polo was a normal tennis shirt or a cotton t shirt. And shorts were short.... and cotton. As a teenager in the late 80s/ early 90s, the look was to wear your boxer shorts with the length of the boxers hanging out below the tennis shorts. Agassi's look was nothing new. It's what all the kids were already doing. NIke just innovated it by building spandex boxers into the shorts.

Thanks for explaining better what I'm trying to say. Most of us won't be used to that and will be weird to wear something we can see in other retailers as fashion items not performance oriented like dryfit or flex shorts.

(I saw one of the 90' denim and is close to what we see in denim pants with some strechy fabric without the button) as I see is a trowback of the colors and styles not a reissue and I'm pretty sure most players that ask for this style to comeback don't use the same shoes as they used because there are some better options, so I don't see why is a problem to get the most of the people enjoying this styles that you liked and can now have with recent fabrics to make it wearable to a bigger amount of players
