we both fans of 90s movies.. so ..arnold or stallone who's the biggest action movies star (not only 90s btw) for you? once i read one forum and the majority said it's arnold iirc.. but i would choose sylvester.. but really not so easy choice:D

Really really close between them. I would not argue with people choosing either. No doubt these two are the biggest action movies stars of all time, they changed action movies forever. If I had to choose, I would give the very slight edge to Stallone, because not only did he act in them, he wrote and directed many of them also and in 1985 Rambo II and Rocky IV were the second and third highest grossing movies of the year, that is two different action franchises in the same year smashing records., and his longevity is incredible, Rambo V only came out last year, he is still going strong..but it is so so close. There were points where Arnie was in fact greater, the late 80s and early 90s I would say he was the better action movie star, but Stallone got it back...and how can we forget, Sly got the entire gang together for the Expendables....that trilogy is a whos who of action movies, all wanting to be in it because of Sly.

Good points. I also am a big fan of 80's/early 90's action movies and Stallone was my favorite. He had a lot of great roles with not one but two iconic characters in Rocky & John J Rambo. Two of my favorite movies with him (outside of the films everyone mentions) are Cobra and Nighthawks. He had such a cool look in Nighthawks that was influenced by the disco era. Such a classic 80's ending to that movie. :)

I will say that Rocky 4 is the movie that got me into bodybuilding and training. I couldn't get enough of the training montages and the awesome soundtrack to that movie. I credit Stallone with my health, well-being and confidence that came with training.
