Not anymore. Roger is actually good friends with Novak now. Look at Laver Cup 2018 how close they wereRoger prefers Rafa, it's no secret. His relation with Rafa is very warm and cold with djoker.
More so now that Djoker has targeted his record. He would prefer Nadal has the slam record instead of Djoker

It would be even finer if Roger would just admit it. Imagine the ensuing fun, Novak's reaction, the media...Very classy indeed but I also couldn't help but detect an undercurrent of "I'm so glad you won today and Djokovic didn't" in his words. Which is fine btw.

We'll that improved relations a bit no doubt. But post that fight regarding ATP organization happened, Wimbledon 2019 heartbreaking loss and then finger waving at AO 20. And then see Djoker father's comments. Not anymore. Roger is actually good friends with Novak now. Look at Laver Cup 2018 how close they were
Roger is the man, expected a warm statement from him, and he delivered - would love to see them battle it out in one more slam final - got to see one Fed-Nadal match in Cinci (a very close Rafa win) and will never forget it

Ooh I was definitely reading something between the lines, Sysy.err, what
Surprising. Did Federer himself really wrote that?
He’s still salty over W2019 and USO11. Those “lucky“ winsRoger you could have at least mentioned Novak. And congratulated him on reaching the finals.

Huh? Bitter at Federer for not liking Djokovic? Lol, I should've known all the hardcore Fed fans would get their knickers in a twist over my comment.Think that's just your bitterness coming through tbh.
Pure class from Novak as well:

"I don't have much to say but that I was completely overplayed by Rafa, by [a] better player on the court. He was not missing at all and getting every ball back, just playing tactically great. I felt well throughout the entire tournament. I thought I was in a great form. Certainly I could have played better, especially in the first two sets. But just, he did surprise me with the way he was playing, the quality of tennis he was producing, the level. I mean, he's phenomenal. He played a perfect match, especially in the first two sets."
"I was also thinking that these conditions are more favorable to me. I was feeling great throughout the tournament playing, playing great tennis, winning in Rome, being very confident about my game. But, yeah, Rafa has proven everybody wrong. That's why he's a great champion. He just played a fantastic match today. That's all."

Don't see why he should tbh..Roger you could have at least mentioned Novak. And congratulated him on reaching the finals.
I've said it time and again - Novak is one of the best sportsmen. He accepts defeats the best among the big 3. Fed/Nadal are sometimes sour but Novak always congratulates his opponents.Which is how it should be in sport. You take a good spanking and all you can do is tip your hat and say well done. I love how he accepts defeats.

Thank you. Exactly my thoughts. I've seen this many times.Gotta say, there are plenty of things to harp on the guy for, but he is by far the most classy in defeat among the Big 3. No contest. Takes balls to just go out there and say that he liked his chances and got overpowered.
Huh? Bitter at Federer for not liking Djokovic? Lol, I should've known all the hardcore Fed fans would get their knickers in a twist over my comment.
Did you miss the "which is fine btw" part of my post btw? And I could imagine you in lots of things Nat but never knickers.Sorry to ruin your phantasy but my knickers aren't twisted lol.
I never understood so much hate for Novak. Out of the 3 he is the most gracious when he loses
That it is one of the biggest achievements in sports. Which it is. Why would he not acknowledge the difficulty of 13 titles at one grand slam and congratulate Rafa for that?I Don’t think he needed to mention the 13 FO’s. What’s he trying to say?

1) doesn't believe men and women should get equal pay in tennis
that would have detracted from the fact that it was Rafa’s day. What was he going to say “congrats on those 7 games you won” This was Rafa’s achievement and it was entirely appropriate not to mention Djokovic
Backhanded compliment, as simple as that. Even worse was the part "I hope 20 is just another step on the continuing journey FOR BOTH OF US". He just couldn't keep himself out of it. Not to mention that he will contribute to their cumulative slam count in the future just as many slams as I will.I Don’t think he needed to mention the 13 FO’s. What’s he trying to say?
Nobody likes Djokobic, so why should Fed?
Not fair to expect him to like Novak to be honest.
Yeah, I bet hater like you is more liked then NovakNobody likes Djokobic, so why should Fed?

The fifth and final stage of grief on the same day as the final. Right.I see he's in the acceptance stage of grief, nice. His fans to follow.
It's more like he relapsed back to the denial stage. Noticed the "I hope 20 is just another step on the continuing journey FOR BOTH OF US" part? The fifth and final stage of grief on the same day as the final. Right.
